  • Yes, you’ll need to provide a model to use with Design & Build XR. If you only have PDF plans, that’s totally fine—you can start with our floor plan visualizer to experience your layout at full scale.

    If you’re looking to take it a step further and create a 3D version, we can help. Our team can convert your files into a 3D model. Just reach out and we’ll guide you through the best next step based on what you have.

  • Design & Build XR accepts a range of file types depending on the type of experience you’re creating. Full guidelines on how to submit files are available here. These should be clean, optimized models without unnecessary geometry or excessive file size. If you're not sure how to prepare these, our team can help convert your plans into a usable format.

    For the floor plan visualizer, a standard PDF of your architectural plans works just fine. Make sure the plans are clear, to scale, and include all relevant details like walls, doors, windows, and room labels to get the most accurate experience.

  • Design & Build XR is compatible with:

    Whether you're presenting in the office or walking clients through a design on-site, you’ve got flexibility.

  • Timelines depend on what you’re creating. Here’s a general overview:

    • Floor plan visualizer – Ready in about 10 minutes

    • 3D model experiences (if you provide the model) – Typically available within 1 business day. Larger or more detailed models may take longer

    • Need us to create the 3D model for you? – We offer a basic white card modeling service that includes walls, doors, and general layout. Turnaround time is usually 5 business days, but more complex projects may require additional time

    These timelines refer to the platform conversion process. If you’re starting from a PDF and need us to build the 3D model first, that’s a separate step—but we’re happy to handle it for you.

  • For 3D Spaces: Up to 2 re-submissions are included. After that, additional uploads can be purchased as needed.

    For the floor plan visualizer: Re-submissions are unlimited.
